28 Jun Let MessageBase Be Part Of YOUR Team

UK innovation is alive and kicking according to a new study among entrepreneurs (@BizMattersMag). The research found that over 80 per cent of the UK’s entrepreneurial businesses have at least 2 completely new ideas which they have yet to commercialise and 26 per cent have 4 or more ideas waiting to be launched.

However whether these ideas will get off the drawing board is doubtful not only due to lack of finance for investment, poor day-to-day cash flow and lack of long-term planning, but over 30 per cent of entrepreneurs just don’t know how to manage their time.

Many of the entrepreneurs studied said they don’t even have enough time in the working day nor enough good people in their business succeed like they could. This will ring alarm bells with potential investors. Who’s going to back an entrepreneur who can’t manage their own diary?”

In the study nearly a third of entrepreneurs questioned said a lack of time was a major barrier to success at the moment,

While the lack of long-term planning may be understandable in the current climate, the lack of talent and the time management issues should and could be quickly addressed. For instance Richard Branson (one of the top 3 most admired entrepreneurs by over 60% of those studied) is a master at delegation. While Steve Jobs, (the second most admired entrepreneur, garnering 36% of votes) has gone on record as saying “great things in business are not done by one person, they are done by a team of people.”

Answering the telephone is a vital function that can easily be delegated as can diary management. Adding MessageBase to your team is an instant and cost effective way of improving time management and expanding your team, with long term commitment guaranteed.  Your bank manager should be impressed.
